Ageing relay-based motor control replaced with a new MCC and PLC control, installed in phases so production never stopped.
The existing boards had reached the end of serviceable life, with obsolete protection devices and no spares available. We produced a new single-line diagram, built and routine-tested the boards, and planned a phased changeover around scheduled production breaks.
Relay logic was migrated to a modern controller with an operator HMI, drives were parameterised, and every loop was checked before energising. Schematics, test records and a bill of materials were handed over on completion.
